Ford Ranger Prices hiked

Ford is increasing prices across most of its Ranger lineup from June 1, 2024, with hikes of up to $1250.

Only the entry-level XL variants have avoided a price rise, with all other models receiving a minimum increase of $250.

V6 Rangers, including the petrol-powered Raptor flagship, have been slugged with a $1250 increase.

“The price adjustments are consistent with the evaluation of market conditions we regularly undertake across our product portfolio, which take into consideration a number of different external factors such as currency and material cost considerations,” said a Ford Australia spokesperson.

The price increases come despite Ford removing some features for what it calls model year 2024.5.

Automatic high-beam has been removed from all bar the Platinum and Raptor, though it remains optional on the Wildtrak.

Ford has also removed Ford MyKey, a feature that allows you to program a maximum speed limit for other drivers among other settings, and dropped the Raptor’s optional beadlock-capable wheels and decal pack.
