Trinseo Q3 Report 2022

Trinseo a specialty material solutions provider, today reported its third quarter 2022 financial results. Net sales in the third quarter decreased 7% versus prior year. Lower sales volumes resulted in an 18% decrease as economic uncertainty and falling raw material prices led to a high level of customer destocking, particularly in Europe and in applications supporting building & construction and consumer durables. Higher prices resulted in an 11% increase from the passthrough of higher raw material and utility costs.
