Cleveland-Cliffs hikes steel prices for fifth time this year
Cleveland-Cliffs (NYSE:CLF) wobbles between small gains and losses Monday after saying it is raising spot market base prices for its carbon hot rolled, cold rolled and coated steel products by at least $100/short ton, effective immediately. The company also raised its minimum hot rolled coil price to $1,300/ton. Cliffs’ (CLF) last increase on the products occurred March 13, following three increases in February.
