Covestro Half-Year Report 2022

In the second quarter of 2022, Group sales grew by 18.9% to €4,703 million (previous year: €3,956 million). This
was mainly due to a considerably higher selling price level, which had a positive impact on sales amounting to
14.5%. In addition, exchange rate movements caused sales to rise by 6.5%. In contrast, a decline in volumes sold
resulted in a 2.1% decline in sales.
