Daimler Truck Q3 Report 2023
The revenue increase was primarily due to improved net pricing. The slight decrease in unit sales and the negative exchange rate development had a counteracting effect on consolidated revenue.
At €10.9 billion (Q3 2022: €11.0 billion), the cost of sales was at the level of the prior-year quarter, due to a slight decrease in unit sales as well as an opposing increase in material costs.
The first nine months of 2023 were driven by strong demand and robust pricing. At the same time, overall global economic development has stabilized. Despite the stabilization in the global supply chains compared to the prior year, production and technology risks increased from medium to high compared to the previous quarter as a result of supplier delivery constraints in individual markets.
