Highlights

Unit sales 

• 31,336 vehicles Down 15.4% year on year
• Japan: 9,113 vehicles, down 3.7% Unit sales decreased slightly, due to the lingering impact of the falsification for certification and the intensification of competition.
• Overseas: 22,223 vehicles, down 19.4% Unit sales dropped considerably, due to the continued problem of insufficient supply of some parts and the sluggish economy in each country. 

Operating Income

• 1.1 billion yen Down 73.7% year on year
• Profit decreased due to the continued skyrocketing prices of materials and the temporary augmentation of expenses. 
• We secured a profit, thanks to the increase of heavy-duty trucks in Japan, the rise in overseas selling prices, and the yen depreciation.
