Hochland Annual Report 2023

We attach great importance to the cross-border dialogue on milk. Representatives of the German milk team travelled to Fromagerie Henri Hutin in France with representatives of the seven milk producer organisations in 2023. 

At the beginning of July, there was also a meeting with the Milk Industry Association (MIV) and the Fédération Nationale de l‘Industrie Laitière (FNIL) at Hochland‘s partner dairy Bechtel. Bechtel processes around 200 million kilos of milk a year for the Grünländer range and is a role model for climate-friendly processes in the implementation of the Hochland Lighthouse project in Dieue, France. Other important topics included the attractiveness of dairy jobs and the dairy industry, animal welfare and climate change, decarbonisation, water availability and environmental labelling.
