Group sales revenues in 2022 Totald Euro 835,597 thousand, increasing Euro 161,878 thousand (+24%). The increase in revenues in 2022 grew across all regions and business units.
Make-up business unit growth (+31.1%) even outperformed the pre-pandemic revenue re- cord. The Hair & Body business unit grew 23.6% and finally the Skincare business unit, also growing slightly (+1.5%) was impacted mainly by the Chinese lockdown.
2022 Industrial Gross Profit was Euro 178,551 thousand (21.4% margin), compared to Euro 144,928 thousand in the previous year (21.5% margin), increasing Euro 33,623 thou- sand (+23.2%), with the margin stable com- pared to the previous year (-0.1.%).
Adjusted EBITDA was Euro 121,691 thou- sand (14.6% margin), up Euro 20,552 thou- sand, +20.3% on Euro 101,139 thousand in the previous year (15.0% margin), with the margin decreasing 0.4 percentage points in the year, mainly due to the high inflation and the supply chain management difficulties which were a feature of 2022 and particular- ly for the Hair & Body business unit, whose business model still centers mainly on con- tract manufacturing.
