In this business environment, Kaneka Group’s business performance for 1H was as follows. Consolidated net sales were ¥380,602 million (up 15.2% year-on-year), operating income was ¥20,813 million (down 9.6% year-on-year), ordinary income was ¥22,518 million (up 7.8% year-onyear), and net income attributable to owners of parent was ¥16,568 million (up 12.2% year-on-year).
