Mitsubishi Chemical America Announces Price Increase

MCA, Polyester Film Division will increase price a minimum of $0.20/lb effective on all PET film product shipments from July 20, 2022.

Cost pressures continue and market demand remains tight applying ongoing challenges to the polyester film industry.  Resin raw materials and purchased resins continue to increase while variable costs including packaging, logistics, and other critical raw materials remain high along with tight supply.

Although we continue making every effort to absorb and offset these rising costs, due to these factors, MCA, Polyester Film Division will increase price a minimum of $0.20/lb effective on all PET film product shipments from July 20, 2022.
