The wages of employees in the food industry must be adjusted to the rising prices. For the 2023 round of collective bargaining, the Food-Genuss-Gaststätten (NGG) trade union is demanding eleven percent more salary or at least 350 euros in a subsequent collective agreement with a term of twelve months. For trainees, 200 euros more wages are required.
