Tesla Increases the price of the Model Y

After garnering media attention in January for slashing the prices of its electric vehicles, Tesla changed course late Friday and increased the price of its Model Y. This was in response to the U.S. government relaxing rules for electric vehicle tax credits. Ford spokesperson Marty Gunsberg, meanwhile, told the Detroit Free Press on Saturday that the automaker has no intentions to increase the Mustang Mach-price E’s or abandon its strategy of giving recent purchasers a discount.
